Certified nursing assistant at a nursing home is the second-best job for entry-level workers, according to an analysis released April 28 by WalletHub.

The personal finance website compared 108 entry-level positions across three dimensions: immediate opportunity, growth potential and job hazards.

Analysts then evaluated the dimensions using 12 metrics, which ranged from the average starting salary to projected job growth by 2033.

Each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with 100 representing the best conditions for entry-level workers. WalletHub used each entry-level position’s weighted average across all metrics to calculate its overall score. More information about the methodology is available here

WalletHub said a low unemployment rate, along with a higher number of job openings and the personal aspect of the job, contributed to the ranking for certified nursing assistant at a nursing home.
