When surveyed, 74% of rank-and-file and 64% of decision-making pediatric radiologists said their organizations were understaffed between 2022 and 2023, according to a study published March 11 in the Journal of the American College of Radiology. 

CMS now requires hospitals and other healthcare settings to track radiation emitted from computerized tomography scans — a rule that has been met mostly with applause, alongside some criticism, KFF Health News reported March 12.
