The hospital, part of Minneapolis-based Allina Health, has offered all affected patients testing for infections, even though its infection control experts “confirmed that the infection risk is very small and did not recommend any testing or treatments,” according to a hospital statement shared with KARE 11.
The trays were cleaned and disinfected but did not go through a final step in the sterilization process.
