Raman Spectroscopy Enabled Researchers to Distinguish Infections, Antibiotic Resistance

Surgeons at Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University in Detroit were able to use Raman spectroscopy to distinguish four different strains of antibiotic resistant S. aureus, according to an American College of Surgeons news release.
