Wexner, Nationwide Children’s Partner for $12.25M Community Health Center

Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center and Nationwide Children’s Hospital, both in Columbus, have partnered with the city of New Albany, Ohio, in the creation of a new $12.25 million community health center in New Albany, according to a report from New Albany News.

The 52,000-square-foot facility will feature a fitness center, therapeutic pool, demonstration kitchen, community activity rooms and other wellness services in addition to medical care.

Nationwide Children’s will have between 40 and 50 employees consulting on sports medicine and pediatric orthopedics-related cases, while Wexner will lease part of the facility for the provision of outpatient and rehabilitation services.

The groundbreaking for the building occurred Aug. 13.
