The search involved Lakeview Behavioral Health’s administrative office and hospital campus about a mile away. Authorities seized numerous computers and boxes of patient records as evidence.

The raid is part of a large-scale investigation into complaints of patient abuse, neglect and fraud at Lakeview Behavioral Health, which is owned by Franklin, Tenn.-based Acadia Healthcare. Police confirmed they’re focusing on cases involving 51 former patients at the facility.

“We are not aware of any substantiated allegations,” Jim Spruyt, group CEO of Lakeview Behavioral Health, said in a statement to WSB-TV. “We continue to work collaboratively and transparently with law enforcement as they follow up their investigation of uncorroborated complaints.”

Lakeview remained open through the searches, and both facilities are operating as normal. No charges have been filed against the facility or any employees.
