Ms. Hoffmann is an infection prevention consultant for the Survey and Certification Group at CMS and a clinical instructor in the infectious diseases division at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill.
Her experience includes serving as associate director of the North Carolina Statewide Program for Infection Control and Epidemiology. She has also worked in infection prevention and control roles at Detroit Medical Center.
A fellow in the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, she served on the SHEA Journal editorial board from for a decade. She is a fellow of APIC and has been a recipient of the APIC Chapter Leadership Award.
