The Kansas data, which is from 2011, included 50 of the 55 hospitals statewide and was only published in the aggregate. The state has no plans to publish individual hospital data, according to the report.
Kansas, Michigan and Wisconsin do not require providers to report infection rates to the state, though Kansas has already requested and has begun to collect 2012 data from hospitals, according to the report.
