Hospitals can preview CMS star ratings until Dec. 3

Hospitals can preview their updated Overall Hospital Quality Star Rating and other quality data from CMS until Dec. 3, according to AHA News.

The agency is giving hospitals 30 days to review data that will be publicly reported in Hospital Compare in January.

The preview applies to inpatient and outpatient prospective payment system hospitals, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and prospective payment system-exempt cancer hospitals.

CMS most recently released updated hospital star ratings in February.
