The second biggest challenge concerning all physicians is uncertainty about future government regulations, according to the survey. The survey also broke down the top challenges by specialty, which were identified as follows:
• Primary care: lower reimbursements
• Psychiatrists: lack of balance between work and personal life
• Cardiologists: uncertain about the future government regulations
• Oncologists: lack of balance between work and personal life
The survey includes responses from 2,743 primary care physicians, cardiologists, oncologists and psychiatrists.
