The council could not further comment because Paris is facing litigation.
Even though the report from UPMC found “heavy fungal growth” on sheets from a linen cart delivered by Paris to UPMC and also fungus at the Paris facility and on its roof, according to Trib Live, the CDC and state health department will not further investigate UPMC’s mold outbreak.
Paris Healthcare Linen Services’ HLAC accreditation will expire in December 2018, according to the report.
