ECRI Institute Releases White Paper on CT Technology, Dosage Safety

ECRI Institute has released a white paper designed to give hospital leaders an at-a-glance overview of the current landscape of computed tomography, from the most popular makes and models to average pricing and dose safety, according to a news release.

The white paper, titled “CT Scanning Systems,” discusses the following:

•   CT scanner performance levels from 16-slice to premium models
•   Top 4 CT manufacturers based on member interest
•   Top 10 CT models and average costs
•   New dose reduction technologies and dose safety guidance

The white paper also discusses other topics, including iterative reconstruction. It is available for free with registration at the ECRI Institute’s website.
