NAHCA presents this prestigious award during its annual conference. The award was created in tribute to NAHCA co-founder, Lori Porter’s mother whose generous spirit gave the association its start. Jacobs will receive the award in front of nearly 500 CNAs from around the nation at NAHCA’s annual Key to Quality banquet on June 2 in Des Moines, Iowa.

“Every five years we honor a NAHCA supporter who is beyond generous, whose spirit helps to keep the NAHCA mission advancing throughout long term care. Dave is that supporter,” says NAHCA co-founder and CEO, Lori Porter. “His ongoing support on behalf of Medline is what allows us to put on these amazing conferences for our members. He understands the value of CNAs and their importance to the marketplace Medline serves and is committed to ensuring they receive the recognition they so richly deserve.”

“CNAs play a vital role in the health and well-being of long-term care residents. That’s why we’re committed to developing innovative programs and education to help support skin health and awareness, leadership development and patient care,” says Jacobs. “It is an honor to receive this award from NAHCA and continue this important collaboration.”
