Congo declares new Ebola outbreak; Merck vaccine to be used

Just days after an Ebola outbreak that killed 33 people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ended, the central Africa nation declared a new outbreak with four confirmed cases, Reuters reports.

Congo will start using Ebola vaccine manufactured by Merck as early as next week. Four people tested positive for Ebola in and around Mangina, a town in North Kivu province. Another 20 people died from unidentified hemorrhagic fevers in July.
