Christiana Care Implements New Scrub Policy for Better Role Recognition

Christiana Care in Wilmington, Del., has implemented a new standardized uniform policy, intended to give patients a better sense of security and safety.

According to a WDEL report, the standardized uniform policy calls for nurses to wear blue scrubs, while technicians and unit clerks will wear gray scrubs. Hospital officials said the distinction is intended to help patients identify specific caregivers more easily.
