APIC announces new infection prevention graduate student award

The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology has announced a $5,000 award, to be given to a master’s or doctoral degree student, to support research that advances infection prevention and evidence-based implementation science.

“We are excited to be able to underwrite research that will expand the evidence base in the implementation of infection prevention and control programs in healthcare settings,” said Mary Lou Manning, PhD, president of APIC. “The award supports APIC’s patient safety mission and commitment to promoting research.”
