Largest US nursing school launches post-acute care training

Addison, Ill.-based Chamberlain University School of Nursing, the largest nursing school in the U.S., has partnered with the American Association of Post-Acute Care Nursing to offer a post-acute care specialty training course. 

The partnership was announced at the AAPACN’s 2025 conference, according to an April 23 news release from the organization. 

“Building a robust pipeline of skilled nurses is crucial for the future of post-acute care,” AAPACN President and CEO Tracey Moorhead said during the announcement. “This partnership with Chamberlain University will … ensure that future nurses are well-prepared to meet the challenges unique to caring for post-acute care residents.”
