Hearst Health, Jefferson College of Population Health name 3 finalists for $100k award

New York City-based Hearst Health and Philadelphia-based Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Population Health named three finalists for the 2018 Hearst Health Prize Thursday, which recognizes an organization’s achievement in managing or improving U.S. health.

Gregory Dorn, MD, president of Hearst Health and David B. Nash, MD, dean of the Jefferson College of Population Health, announced the finalists.

Here are the three finalists listed in alphabetical order, with links to videos describing their program.

1. Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center
2. Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance
3. Nurse-Family Partnership

Hearst Health will announce the winner of the $100,000 award March 20 at the Population Health Colloquium. For the first time, the other two finalists will each receive $25,000.
