Pharmaceutical company Mylan received FDA approval of its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Etomidate Injection, a generic anesthesia drug, according to iStockAnalyst.com.
Etomidate Injection is the generic version of Hospira’s Amidate Injection, which is an intravenous general anesthesia.
The newly-approved drug has begun shipping in the United States, and sales for the last 12 months of Etomidate Injection, ending in March, were $6.58M.
