RedBox RX allows users nationwide to quickly connect with a clinician who can prescribe medication, and prescriptions will be sent directly to the user for free. Treatment areas offered by the service include primary care, men and women’s health, and mental health, among several others.

“To basically have a walk-in clinic that has no waiting room for folks to be able to talk to a healthcare professional about mental health, especially in this day and age with all the craziness in the world, we’re just really proud of that,” Redbox Rx President Marshall Sanders, PharmD, told CBS affiliate KRCG.

To keep prices low, RedBox RX said it will not accept insurance. Telehealth fees will cost up to $39 per visit, depending on the treatment type. Patients may use a health savings account or flexible spending account card to cover the cost of the visit or drug costs.
