The Princeton, N.J.-based company plans to cut 776 jobs starting June 28 and an additional 87 positions beginning August 22. In March, the drugmaker announced a reduction of 75 jobs in Lawrenceville, which began happening in April. The city houses two BMS facilities, according to the company’s website.
In an earnings call with investors, David Elkins, the company’s CFO for global business operations, said BMS will be “removing layers of management,” which will affect about 2,200 employees.
