COVID-19 vaccine compliance no longer required: Joint Commission

Effective immediately, The Joint Commission will no longer require hospitals to provide evidence of COVID-19 vaccine compliance, the commission announced July 5.

The Joint Commission surveyors have been instructed not to evaluate any healthcare organization for vaccine compliance, though the standard will remain in the manual until new standards are updated and released later in 2023.
