New York’s St. Joseph’s Hospital Lures Orthopedists Away From Community General

St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., has signed an agreement to collaborate with physicians from Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists to improve the hospital’s orthopedic service line, according to a report by Your News Now.

As part of the deal, St. Joseph’s will provide private rooms for orthopedic patients and OR teams specializing in orthopedic procedures.

SOS physicians are currently on staff at St. Joseph’s, Crouse Hospital and Community General, which are all located in Syracuse. The physicians from SOS who will staff St. Joseph’s will leave Community General, according to the report.
