Orthopedic surgeon Thomas J. Kovack, DO, completed the hospital’s first procedure using the Mako device. The technology uses a 3D model to help personalize patients’ surgical plans and is designed to improve implant alignment and positioning.
Dr. Kovack is a member of Columbus, Ohio-based Hand and Microsurgery Associates.
