The new robotic surgical system will be located in the Cardiovascular Institute of Mississippi and will be able to assist surgeons in prostate, OB/GYN and heart procedures, according to the report.
Kevin Richardson, MD, and William Duncan, MD, have been appointed co-chairmen of the hospital’s surgical robotics program.
