Yale Cancer Center invested $1.5 million to improve its hematology/oncology fellowship program, it said Feb. 18.
The investment will go toward developing programs and supporting fellows in the program in pursuing educational opportunities and research projects and launching careers at the cancer center.
"I am honored to have the cancer center’s generous support to continue to build on the existing strengths of our program and expand the opportunities we provide to our fellows," stated Alfred I. Lee, MD, PhD, director of the program. "With this renewed level of commitment, the possibilities are endless."
