Penn Medicine welcomes 5 new cancer care leaders 

Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine announced five new physicians leading the institution's cancer care teams in a Dec. 3 blog post. 

Nduka M. Amankulor, MD, is the new chief of neurosurgical oncology and director of the Penn Brain Tumor Center. Dr. Amankulor joined Penn Neurosurgery in October 2021 and is the former director of neurosurgical oncology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. 

Trinity J. Bivalacqua, MD, PhD, is the new chief of urologic oncology at Penn Medicine and Phillip M. Pierorazio, MD, is the chief of urology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

Cara A. Cipriano, MD, is the new chief of orthopedic oncology.

Oluwadamilola "Lola" Fayanju, MD, is the new chief of breast cancer and surgical oncology for Penn Medicine. Dr. Fayanju is also the surgical director at the Rena Rowan Breast Center.
