“While we have a full simulation lab with mannequins, moving to virtual reality really gives a 360 view for students to be able to practice and gain confidence,” said Lynn Ortale, PhD, Maria College president.
If approved, federal funding would be used to purchase the hardware, software and other equipment needed for the virtual program. The program is expected to be approved by December, the report said.
