St. Joseph Regional Health System to Build $20M Trauma Center

St. Joseph Regional Health System in Bryan, Texas, has announced plans to build a $20 million facility to house its trauma program.

The new facility will be called St. Joseph Emergency and Trauma Center.

According to the news release, St. Joseph Regional Health System is the highest level trauma center in the region and has seen an increase in patients since receiving a Level II Trauma designation in May 2013. The new space will help the hospital provide better and more efficient care in light of the influx of patients, according to the news release.

Construction is planned to begin in spring 2014.
