The Medical AirCare helicopter had flown in from Seguin, Texas, to drop off a patient at the Memorial City hospital and was leaving the hospital when it was forced to make a hard landing near the helipad.

No patient was on board, and the pilot, nurse and paramedic were not injured in the incident.

However, the National Safety and Transportation Board and the Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the incident.
