ShermanChoice has a contract with Provena St. Joseph to provide some kinds of care to its patients. St. Joseph billed for the care based on the length of the treatments rather than on a per treatment basis, and it has refused to issue a refund, the complaint said.

ShermanChoice didn’t catch the alleged error until more than a year after the services were provided, according to the report.
