Rhode Island employee charged after ghost gun found in locker

A Rhode Island state employee has been charged with possessing a ghost gun after a hospital reported he kept it in his locker.

Kenneth Fullam, 60, worked at Eleanor Slater Hospital in Burrillville, according to an April 18 Rhode Island attorney general press release. On Nov. 21, the Rhode Island State Police received a call from the hospital. Administrators told them an ongoing internal investigation revealed an employee was keeping a firearm in his locker in the parking garage. Troopers searched the building and allegedly found an AR-15 firearm with no serial number or identification markings inside Mr. Fullam's locker. There were also two boxes of spent shell casings and one box of reloadable projectiles, according to the release.

Mr. Fullam was charged April 4 with two counts of possession of a ghost gun. He will face pre-arraignment on June 30 in the state's supreme court.
