Frederick Gooding, MD, was arrested Aug. 1 and charged with 11 counts of healthcare fraud. Between January 2015 and August 2018, Dr. Gooding allegedly submitted fraudulent claims to Medicare for medical procedures he never provided.
According to the Justice Department, Dr. Gooding falsified medical documents to hide the alleged scheme.
