Leaders of Florida Pharmacy Solutions were accused of bribing physicians to prescribe expensive compounded drugs to Tricare members, resulting in higher reimbursements. Bribes included “lavish hunting trips and expensive dinners,” according to the lawsuit.
Florida Pharmacy Solutions CEO and co-owner James Moss, 60, senior sales manager and co-owner David Copeland, 55, and lead sales representative Michael Gordon, 60, were sentenced to between one and a half years’ and more than four years’ imprisonment in connection to the scheme.
