The budget calls for a $150.2 million reduction in state funds, which would result in the loss of $183 million in federal matching funds.
“Hospital care is a must-have, not a nice-to have, for all Pennsylvanians. As such, the final budget needs to ensure that hospitals remain viable, job-creating employers in their communities, where they can continue to provide needed healthcare as well as jobs and job-growth opportunities, support other businesses and stimulate local economic activity,” said HAP President and CEO Carolyn F.
