OIG Releases Work Plan for Fiscal Year 2012

The Office of Inspector General has released the Work Plan (pdf) for fiscal year 2012 that outlines projects OIG will continue or start in the new fiscal year.

The programs created by the Affordable Care Act that OIG is currently reviewing or will start reviewing in FY 2012 include the following:

– Pre-existing Condition Insurance Plans
– Early Retiree Reinsurance Program
– Health insurance web portal
– Affordable Insurance Exchanges
– National Background Check Program
– Community Living Assistance Services and Supports program
