Beverly Ann Bratcher, LPN, was charged in the 61st District Court in Kent County, Mich., with the four-year felony.

Ms. Nassel alleged that in December 2020, Ms. Bratcher became aware of two incorrect medication doses given to a resident but failed to report it to her supervisor or a physician in a timely manner.

“Caring for vulnerable adults is a significant responsibility that requires special care,” Ms. Nassel said in the release. “Failure to fulfill that responsibility can have dire and even criminal consequences and my department will not hesitate to act.”

Ms. Bratcher is scheduled to be arraigned via Zoom on September 14.
