The government alleges Dr. Glazer, a Los Angeles physician, billed Medicare for services that were not medically necessary or not provided to Medicare beneficiaries from 2006 to 2014, according to the report.
The government further alleges Dr. Glazer signed prescriptions, certifications and other medical documents for medically unnecessary home health services and medical equipment, according to the report.
Dr. Glazer has been charged with one count of conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud.
