According to the lawsuit, Memorial Healthcare withdrew its offer of a medical transcriptionist position to Yvonne Blair because she refused to take a flu shot due to religious objections.
Ms. Blair offered to wear a mask, and though the company has a policy in place allowing employees to wear masks as an alternative to receiving the flu shot, they still rescinded the offer.
