According to court documents, William “Ed” Henry, a former owner and CEO of MyPractice24 in Decatur, Ala., entered into kickback agreements with physicians. Under the agreements, MyPractice24 agreed to provide kickbacks to physicians for referring Medicare beneficiaries to the company for chronic care management services, the Justice Department said.
Mr. Henry’s sentencing comes after he pleaded guilty to one count of theft of government property during a January hearing.
