Mr. Vargason was employed by UPMC Williamsport as a patient transporter, according to his LinkedIn. He described disabling the call bell system, damaging an elevator and pulling the fire alarm three times as “pranks.”

A year ago, he pleaded guilty to consolidated counts of recklessly endangering another person, false alarm and criminal mischief. He was not sentenced due to admission to the diversion program.

No one was harmed as a result of his actions.
