Otashe Golden, MD, served as chief quality officer at the hospital and was its first African American female to hold an executive-level position at the hospital. According to the complaint, Dr. Golden was “repeatedly subject to a pattern of retaliation including harassment, intimidation, exclusion from meetings she would have normally attended, unilaterally canceling her contracts, intimidating other physicians to avoid her, monitoring of her comings and goings, interfering with her business relationships and providing negative references,” according to the news release.
The hospital did not respond to a request for comment at press time.
