Deborah Wilberding allegedly used a credit card for personal use and was then reimbursed by the hospital for making unspecified purchases with her own money.
The hospital said it was notified of the alleged scheme in August by an unspecified financial institution, and Ms. Wilberding was placed on administrative leave after the hospital began an internal audit. She was fired later in August after the hospital found financial improprieties, according to the report.
