Here are the top six challenges hospital executives whose facilities employ data governance strategies identified as barriers to implementing the processes.
1. Lack of resources: 70 percent
2. Variance in leadership buy-in: 50 percent
3. Discrepancy in defining data measures: 49 percent
4. Interdepartmental conflict: 37 percent
5. Lengthy implementation time: 31 percent
6. Additional associated costs: 29 percent
