St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings and Holy Rosary Healthcare in Miles City allegedly paid several physicians incentive pay that factored the value or volume of physicians’ referrals. The hospitals disclosed the issues to the government.
A timeframe for the alleged activity was not provided, nor was a breakdown of each hospital’s respective settlement payment.
St. Vincent and Holy Rosary are both part of Denver-based Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System.
