The researchers asked a series of 25 questions related to breast cancer screenings to the artificial intelligence tool three times. Of the three questions the tool got incorrect, one was due to outdated information and two had inconsistent responses, according to an April 4 University of Maryland news release.

The researchers are now looking at how ChatGPT will respond to information related to lung cancer screenings.
