Here are the top 10 based on the number of nurses per 1,000 people:
1. Hawaii: 1.9
2. Utah: 5.7
3. Wisconsin: 5.8
4. Wyoming: 6.0
5. Washington, D.C.: 7.9
5. Washington: 7.9
6. North Carolina: 8.3
7. Oregon: 8.4
8. Nevada: 9.2
8. New Hampshire: 9.2
