Westchester Medical Center and Bon Secours Charity Health System have a history, as the two are working together on multiple projects “in their application for funds under the state’s Medicaid reform program,” according to the report.

In the report, Michael Israel, Westchester Medical Center’s president and CEO, spoke highly of a potential joint venture, saying that it would positively impact local programs and offerings.

If such a joint venture were to happen, Westchester Medical Center would serve as the majority co-member of Bon Secours Charity Health System, and Westchester Medical Center would have “some staying power,” the report reads.
