WellStar Health System to Acquire OrthoSport

Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System has signed a letter of intent to acquire OrthoSport Physical Therapy to expand the health system’s rehabilitation services, according to a WellStar news release.

The practice employs 20 and offers acquatic therapy, sports medicine, work injury management, spinal rehab and vestibular and dry needling programs. Kim Chastain, a physical therapist who owns the practice, will become WellStar’s executive director of outpatient rehabilitation after the deal is complete.
