To grow Samaritan’s clinical programs, UH will provide technology and strong clinical research, among other initiatives.

“We look forward to growing and enhancing Samaritan’s services and programs to continue their long-standing tradition of providing patient-focused, superior-quality healthcare close to home,” said Thomas F. Zenty III, CEO of UH.

Samaritan President and CEO Danny Boggs also has a positive outlook on the hospital’s future as part of UH. “Integrating into the University Hospitals system will further strengthen Samaritan and help us sustain our mission to provide high-quality patient-centered healthcare to our patients and the communities that we serve,” he said.

With the addition of Samaritan, UH includes 16 hospitals and has more than 26,000 employees.
